What is your style?
We are storytellers using photography to convey what we see to other people. We use a photojournalistic approach in capturing the story, yet we are trained in posing individuals and groups so that they are photographed in the most flattering way. We listen and find out what’s important to you. Then we create YOUR vision and deliver images that (hopefully) exceed your expectations.
Who will actually be at my event?
Janet & Sandy Buller are the business owners and actually will be your photographers or videographers. We have seasoned professionals who assist us as 2nd cameramen/women. We offer complimentary consultations! You have time to get to know us and make sure we are good fit for you!
Do you have a studio?
We gave up our studio location in River Oaks back in 2016, but looking forward to opening another studio location most likely around the Pattison, Texas area in the future. When we want a studio setting, we can also rent a studio that is perfect for our needs.
For now, we can meet you for lunch or coffee at a convenient location. It’s great to meet at your wedding venue to help pre-visualize the wedding day and talk about what we can offer with our wedding day photography coverage.
What kind of equipment do you use?
We use Nikon Cameras and Nikon/Nikkor lenses, and in certain venues we will use MFT mirror-less Panasonic GH4/GH5 cameras so that we won’t generate any shutter noises. We are always upgrading our gear! We also have a comprehensive collection of backup equipment. Additionally, we bring professional lighting equipment and are prepared for any lighting situation. There is no room for mistakes or equipment failure in wedding photography. You are hiring us to get it right the first and only time.
Do you carry liability insurance?
Absolutely! You should ask this of all your vendors and be wary of working with those who don’t.
What do you require to book our wedding date?
We require a non-refundable deposit of $500 plus tax and a signed contract. The balance of the wedding package is due 14 days before your wedding date. We do have payment plan options, just discuss this with us and we can figure out what works best for you!
How long do we have to wait to see our wedding photos?
Don’t be surprised to get your photos in about 4 to 6 weeks! The images will be uploaded to our online gallery so friends and family can see them.
How many images will we receive?
We discuss this topic during the planning session so that there are no surprises. It depends on the wedding or event and what type of final product you would like. We shoot intentionally, so that we don’t overwhelm you with tons of photos. We usually present about 25 images for engagement sessions and bridal portraits. If we are creating an album from a session, we may deliver more images.
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes, we regularly travel for weddings. We add a $300 travel fee to Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, and Corpus Christi (and anywhere else between 50 to 250 miles outside of Houston) plus two nights at a hotel. There is no travel fee for a location within 50 miles of Houston. We also have custom travel quotes for those who are far out of the area, but desire our services. (Check with us in case we might already be visiting other Texas cities!)
